Who is running which vB version and why?
I'm running vBulletin three, as i think its organised a lot better than vB2 ever was. Althoygh i did think vB2 was a lot easier to skin and hack.
|
3.0.5 x2
I'm of the vB3 era though. I've hardly ever used vB2 |
I run 3.0.5. Went from 3.0.3 to 3.0.5. Skipped 3.0.4
|
I ran vB 1, 2 and now 3 :D
|
We skipped from 3.0.3 to 3.0.5
I have never used vB 2.x - it's before my time as far as vB is concerned. |
Well, I used to run 2.0.0. ;)
Right now my board uses 3.0.5, as well as most of my dev boards. |

The code for vB3 is far cleaner, but it's also harder to code for in a way just because of the new structure of the database and style system in particular. |
I remmeber 1.31 i think. Cant remember
|
3.0.1 with the new init.php
At this point, besides it being nearly impossible, due to the amount of hacking done and time to get everything up to 3.0.5 |
I currently run 3.0.3!
Their was a vesion 1, is anyone still using that lol |
3.0.5 - easier to hack since things are better organised in their own function files.
|
3.0.5, not only easier to hack but most of the vB2 hacks I used are now included in vB3, so I hack the code less. :)
|
3.0.4 and init.php in 3.0.5 ver. Because I couldn't upgrade.
|
vb3.05 from 3.03 :nervous:
|
v3.0.5
The whole setting up and using vBulletin has been a learning process, especially getting it to where I want to look and operate. If there wasn't so many intelligent people already putting out hacks for everything I can think of, then I'd try my hand at hacking myself :D |
3.0.3 and my laziness is till here. vb3 is very very good for customizing but I don't know how it was in vb2 since I knew nothing at that time o.O
|
v3.0.5
I try to upgrade as soon as I can. |
