Names Effects...
 

The name effects are not showing on the forumhome, e.g. bold etc shows in post bit but not on the forum home page...

Please advise...

Theres alot of forumhome page, which part of the forumhome page?

The who's online bit... the last post by bit... who visited today bit... everywhere where the username is displayed...

Now go into your templates, and tell me, does it use username inside of the [] or musername

No every template and appearnce of a username makes user of the MUSERNAME function as apposed to the username function

USERNAME in the varible, like $post[username], for example will display a clean version(no markup glowing etc) of the username.

MUSERNAME is the formatted version of the username. Most of thoughs places you made mention of use username over musername.

so i need to find

username

and replace with

musername

in the forumhome template?

No, you shouldnt, as it wont even be parsed in all areas, the fact is their name wont showup EVERYWHERE with markup.

ok but i have seen it work on other boards... im kinda baffled here... might have to get the guy that made the template to read this, might make more sense to him... lol

I bought red name from uShop and it shows red on the forum home page in who's online... is this coz its me and only i can see it or does it work...? im not sure now...
