Add Tsunami appeal above your navbar
i saw the appeal when i went to vb.com so i added it to my sites ... its one of the most important things to get aid to that region and a lot of help is getting across, i though it would be good to give people the option to add it to their forums, you can change what ever you feel nessary to back your local charity. It would give a wider scope to everyone that views your forums adds it. personally i think it should be made a mass email.
This'll only work in vB3
Open your navbar template find
HTML Code:
<!-- breadcrumb, login, pm info -->
Above add:
HTML Code:
<table class="tborder" width="100%" border="0" cellpadding="$stylevar[cellpadding]" cellspacing="$stylevar[cellspacing]" align="center">
<tr>
<td class="alt1" width="100%"><font size="3"><strong>Tsunami
Disaster Appeal</strong></font><br>
As the death toll in the South-East
Asian earthquake/tsunami tops one hundred thousand, we would like to
encourage all our visitors to make a donation to the appeal for aid
to help the relief efforts in the affected countries. To donate using
a credit card, you may click the 'donate online' link opposite, or
you can find a large number of organizations who can accept donations
on this <a href="http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/asia-pacific/4131881.stm" target="_blank">BBC
news page</a> or <a href="http://www.google.com/tsunami_relief.html" target="_blank">Aid agencies list - Google</a></td>
<td width="162" align="center" valign="middle" bgcolor="#FFFFFF"><a href="http://www.dec.org.uk" target="_blank"><img src="/tsunami_donate.gif" width="130" height="130" border="0"></a></td>
</tr>
</table>
Sorry to mods i dont know where its best to place this but its too general to put them in a hack.
