Rate my postbit
 

Hey there,

I have completely edited my postbit(_legacy) layout , and I was wondering what you guys think of it.
I'm still a beginer at it , heh.

I maybe wanna make it with images , sothat i dont have to use HTML's annoying <table> tag ^^. But thats to advanced for me I guess...

PS The usertitle and the rank (together with its box) will only be displayed when the user has one. (to answer the question : where does the rank and the usertitle go).

I've been having some errors with the activity hack , and some if's wrong placed , but it should be OK now...

Sorry for the slow loading time btw , the snow is really taking up a lot of CPU :S.

hmm if its the same hack as on here - just found it and its supposed to use a lot of queries - do u really the hack that bad ?

Heh , yes its the same hack (the bars that is).
I like it a lot , so I don't really care if it takes up a lot of queries...
It is very usefull to stop spam on your forums (if you only use the activity bar , and remove the postcount that is) , because now the only goal that can be achieved by posting , is gaing activity.
So now , instead of a member spamming your whole forum in 1 day , he has to build up his activity , by making 4 posts for 4 months ;)

queries will bring your board down and cause bad server load - no hack is worth this but if u happy then fair enough.

Yeah , sorry about the long loading time , my host had/still has some problems ...
And the snow thingy is taking up a lot of CPU... I dont know why though.
And what I understood about the hacks queries is that they will only run once at 12:00 GMT , to calculate the activity+longevity...

I had some trouble with my host , but now the board should load smoothly again :).

Rather interesting postbit.... a little too much tableism for my liking tho

I am now studying the templates , trying to figure out a way to let the avantar and stuff show on the right of the post...
I guess I will have to completely "mirror" it all , what is left will become right , and the other way around...
