vBadvanced CMPS 2nd Latest Topics Module addon / for specific forums
Hello Everyone,
Over the last few months I have seen this asked for many times. Brian has given instructions on how to do this, but, I thought it'd be easier to type this up, and post it here for people to find a little easier. All Credit for this goes to Brian What this does, It creates a new module for the CMPS homepage, that pulls posts just like the latest Topics module, but for a specific forum or 2, plus the amount of posts in this block is customized to a different amount other then what is in the vBa Default settings. Here is a Demo. right side under Merlin, where it says Latest_QOTW I hope this helps everyone, good luck and enjoy ;) |

Are you asking if anyone got it working, or are you asking if someone can get this working for you? |

Translation: N1 work ! I love u thx N1 = Nice one (meaning the hack) work ! = It worked for him/her to install the hack. I love u thx = There is so much excitement over the hack that they are jumping up and down with gratification that there is love in their heart, and joy in their sole. :p |
Thanks HarryButt,
I have to assume that is "leet speak" or some variation, and I am not up on it :p Glad you like Benjamini ;) |

Edit the original module, choose the first dropdown menu, choose Copy This will create a new module, choose a name for it, then Scroll down to where it says "Recent Threads Forums" and choose which forums to view, highlighting them. Scroll down to the bottom and Hit save. Edit the original module again, and remove the ones you added to the newly created second module. Done Good luck ;) |
