Cross Fader.
Volume Control
Autoplay
Bandwith controlled streaming
popup feature
close feature
compressess the song file so space saver

Yes no one can access or save the songs, so as long as you have bought them and the songs are yours its 100% Safe

------------------------------
Got a demo?

Yes Here demo link

---------------------------
Screenshots?

No need see the demo link or check radioblogclub.com

---------------------------
I cant find mp3s or dont own any what do I do???
Simple, this is what I use, go to www.apple.com/itunes/ its a free downloadble program for both windows and linux and mac os and osx, and has over 700,000 songs!!!
---------------------------
Get a background like the screenshot
In the /radio.blog/index.php File found in the hack find
Code:

<head>
Add after
Code:

<style type="text/css">
<!--

body {
        background-image: url(bg2.gif);
        margin-left: 0px;
        margin-top: 0px;
        margin-right: 0px;
        margin-bottom: 0px;
}
-->
</style>

Where bg2.gif is change with your image, this can be seen HERE
---------------------------
What can I say?

Lethal 11-19-2004 11:56 PM

U do dbl click on .bat file with the mp3 files on ur pc and then upload the rbs files correct. cause i have the mp3 files in my create.sound dir but when I dbl click on the .bat file it does nothing. I kept checking the sounds dir but the .rbs files never appeared.

Is this for a mac pc?

Lionel 11-20-2004 12:05 AM

Lionel 11-20-2004 02:08 AM

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! some instructions! if not for you I would have looked for that bin folder all night. Thanks.

Reeve of shinra 11-20-2004 04:35 AM

perhaps i am mistaken, but I believe your not allowed to play music you own to the general public without paying royalties.

I personally dont care but just something those interestedin using this should check into.

snyx 11-20-2004 06:55 AM

wicked setup, any chance of getting the FLA?

moley 11-20-2004 07:19 AM

this sounds great cannot wait to try it out.

Lethal 11-20-2004 07:55 AM

update instructions please. ty djjeffa for the link that worked.

Lethal 11-20-2004 08:09 AM

yes, this is what needs to be in your creat.sound folder. If you have these files in there, put your mp3 files in there as well then double click the convert64.bat file and it should bring up a dos prompt that converts the mp3's to .rbs

SSJ 4 Goku 11-20-2004 09:45 AM

And to get it into youre vB menu just follow the instructions and remove the /of radio.blog

In Navbar Template Look for anylinks like user cp etc and under that put this Code

<td class="vbmenu_control"><a href="radio.php?$session[sessionurl]">Radio</a></td>

Demo:Here

Dean C 11-20-2004 10:04 AM

This looks great :)!

If I got you right: I can add all my songs I purchased legally and my forum users can listen to them? And that's really not illegal? :o

Lionel 11-20-2004 01:31 PM

I guess you could think of it like music that you purchased and letting your friends listen to them at your house...

it depends on the country your server is located

dethfire 11-20-2004 04:07 PM

Anyone know the rules on this in the US, seems a bit shady

GoTTi 11-20-2004 04:42 PM

its a radio people, your not distributing mp3 files....relax.

GoTTi 11-20-2004 04:42 PM

its just like doing a broadcast from your computer or server with winamp

khaleel 11-20-2004 05:20 PM

Ok ok ok ok please everyone calm down. When I did this on phpBB.com it was not as popular, ehm im going to sound like an arse now, this mod will not be supported and is being removed if you want it its $5.99! lol joke

Ok first thing

This is my first vbulletin mod or whatever you want to call it, i came from work checked my gmail i said one person replied so now its three pages, will everyone please read other posts as most questions have been asked and answered by other users before posting. Its going to be hard for me to keep checking this and offering support, you must read the Instructions.txt for the radio.blog sound converting :D

It works on windows operating system, i dont know about mac and bat files, sometimes you need to check that only mp3s are in there and not txt or wma files are in, make sure you can run .bat files.

Second of all i need one more person to partner this mod with, it would be nice if someone else other than me can keep checking and offering support and helping. please email me khaleelm@gmail.com

Some questions

You place whatever songs you want to have, the users can only listen and stream them they cannot steal them unless they are using radio.blog and your sounds/ directory is open (meaning people can see everything in the folder thats why i put a blank .php file, other wise check www.radioblogclub.com)

[quote]its a radio people, your not distributing mp3 files....relax.[/qoute]
read that ^

Hmm double check you dont have txt or wma files and can use .bat files and also run an update on update.windows.com your pc may need command prompt updates with the new service pack, more problems check the www.radioblogclub.com forum and dont please for keep sakes say its this mod as they support there player not the mod just search on that site for common questions like that dont bring my mod into it :D

Not checked for mac mate, can some beta person check this?

Finally, again please someone think about helping me out with this as im kind of new, also ill update the file soon with a FAQ file and some new radioblog stuff along with a program (opensource keeping it legal ) that may allow you to run the bat with no problems, oh im being silly now but if your site is harry potter related or you want to link my sites or this mod feel free to link www.khaleel.co.uk or www.death-eater.net using http://fan.death-eater.net/ for links again ill try keeping up enjoy my mod

over and out

djjeffa 11-20-2004 07:35 PM

just a little tip for you guys tring to save some bandwith or have alote of dailup usere I used the 32converter for the mps and not only dose it cut the file size in half but the sound quality is still good

khaleel 11-20-2004 07:40 PM

Ph yes that also thanks for pointing that out mate :D you can also pop over to http://sourceforge.net and get some opensource mp3 compressors bringing 5meg to 3 meg and then convert it to 1meg cool eh

MrNase 11-20-2004 08:34 PM

Damned thing.. In Germany you have to pay when you launch an online radio.. Otherwise it's illegal :(

khaleel 11-20-2004 08:44 PM

why so down in the blues? I would not call it a radio, its simply a music player made in flash, ask your host and explain the name "radio" is just used as its the admins playlist so your kind of like a radio host
