Legend of the Green Dragon
 

For all of you who remember Seth Able's Legend of the Red Dragon from the old BBS days, there is a new version of the game out called Legend of the Green Dragon. Check it out and let me know what you think. I have added some new modules to it and now you can travel to different cities.

Looks cool. :) How integrated did you make it into your forums?

Right now I don't have it integreated at all except for the DB part of it. Just a directory under my forums and a link to the game from my site. I was thinking of integreating it so it will pull your name and pass info from vb but haven't done it as yet. ;)

LotGD is a great addon to any site. I'm working to put LotGD on my site right now. There's also some nice mods out there you can get on the net. It's addictive...

LOL I've been adding mods to it for 2 days now. Check it out and let me know what you think so far. I am even touching up a new skin for it. Try the yarboroughmix skin in the preferences. ;)

Sorry I haven't been on for awhile... I was at the hospital cause my appendix ruptured and I was in bad shape....

Anyway, I clicked on it and it came up an error. Do you have LoGD anymore?

I'm also curious on how you are intergrating it into your forums... Is it really possible?

The link now works. I just switched servers and am cleaning up the db connects in all of the places they are at. ;)

I haven't integrated it into the forums yet as I did have a couple of users that weren't members of the forums. Since they are now gone, I will be working on doing that as soon as the server move is running stable. ;)

Hey this is exactly what I was looking for in my other RPG thread! I played around with this a bit on the link you provided and I'm pretty freakin' impressed by what's been done so far. I'll definitely be adding this to my site.

I have a valid license for tw2002 gold. I'll have to shoot some e-mail to the creator again.
Never had a lot of time to rip it apart and find where the data is stored. It would be nice to push stats and data to mysql / php. :D

I did an integration for LOGD for .threads back in the day; ah, to have that kind of free time available again, lol

Wonderful reply, thank you! According to your comment, questions should never be asked, only googled.... OR maybe I should post a massive 10 page post on all the discussions I found about it online, but no real results, and then never bring it up here for anyone to even consider integration of any kind.

Hell, I'm sure EVERYONE here has heard of LoGD, played LoRD, know who Seth Able is, and have already considered the very same thing and beat it to death here in the forums... oh wait.

I wish I had half the time I used to have! haha!

That would be pretty much the most awesome thing to happen in the history of the internet. I can't tell you how many hours of my childhood were absolutely wasted playing that game. TW2002 was the warcraft of the 80's. :D
