vb3 non irc chat
 

Hey all, I have been searching around the site and haven't found anything that works. All the phpmychat hacks dont seem to work with the newest verison. Am I doing something wrong or anyone have sugestions on other hacks that let people chat useing ther vb logins.

I use one called FlashChat it only cost $5 and it looks stunning :) Its a must have imo.

Can change the style of the chatroom, or make your own style, send private messages to users, have multiple rooms, change ur text font style colour etc, erm and lots more :)

Have a link?? Does it use the vb usernames?

yes you can, its in the install file when you buy it, simple matter of removing // before some code and walla :) Im using it on my site at www.murderousemcees.com sign up to test it if you wish, make your username the same as on here so i can delete it later :)

I have FlashChat in my forums but can't get the Who's inChat thing working from what they say on their boards...anyone care to work on a hack for it...thanks

old topic but just wondering if anyone knows if it's possible to run the flashchat on a separate server while still using the vb db for user login.

As long as it can connect to the vb database then yes.
