Broke 10,000 posts
 

Hello Everyone,

I know my site is basically just starting, actually I've had it just over a year, but, I blew up my vBulletin installation when trying to upgrade from 2.X to 3.0 when Gamma came out.

Anyway, the Gamma and my site have been up back up for about 6 months, and we just broke 10,000 posts in 2000 threads.

Thank you Erwin, Filburt, and the rest of you incredible coders here for helping me make my site happen.

You all are the best ;)

10 millions!!! Are you kidding me lolz :D I thought my forum was the largest one but I know there are some larger ones out there, 10 million is need sometimes man, great :D ;)

The largest board I ever administrated had 6 million posts, and over 1 million members :)

That was 2 years ago though - Wonder if it is still around:)

Nah - Only about 100,000 of them were active, sadly :(

And active is defined by 1 post or more...

Good job ;) I don't think any of my own forums will hit that mark for quite awhile at this speed.

Why would anyone register for a forum and then not post? (apart from those where you get an email address) It also seems strange to me that there are more members than threads on most of the boards mentioned above, I'd have thought most people register to start a thread.

I'm impressed that VB can handle that kind of volume, are boards that big happy on a standard dedicated server or do you have to get more serious (whatever that means)

Threads: 861, Posts: 11,037, Members: 408 for me, it's been kind of slow as of late :(
I probably need to spend more on some advertising although I do have a friend with a busy site willing to just give me a bit of space :D I think I'll be putting in a redesign first however.
