FlashChat: Who is Chatting Integration
 

Hi everyone,

I've intalled flashchat and must say that I love it. For $5 it's well worth the features you get.

I do, however, have a problem getting the Who is Chatting integration to work.

I simply need a variable that I can call from any site, such as the index page.

So I can add $whoischatting to any part of the code.

The problem is that I'm not getting anywhere really. Is there anyone out there who has done this or is familliar with flashchat to offer any advice?

That mod works but it messing up your templates :ermm:

remove the css from the bottom of the info.php and it not mess up the fonts

This mod causes an error when I try to use my arcade. Anyone know how I can fix this?

I'm no expert I just did some searching some figured this out.

I made a new who.php and installed that into the flashchat directory.

then I made the changes to the phpinclude_start and forumhome template modified the forumhome and insterted the code that is in the tempate.txt file.

It's not perfect but hey it works for me.

the line it gives you the error for in the .php file. just go and edit that out. And it will work.

I just changed the variable in the arcade and it worked then

hi. i made also a flashchat integration into the forum home with displaying dynamically smaller sizes of the avatarpics of the users who are in the chat.

i am not really finished in optimizing it, but it works.
if you want i can post the code later

Does anyone using Flashchat have a problem with members not being able to log out of vbulletin after being in the chat room. I found one other person who also has this problem and they have the portal CMPS mod, like me, but I can't see that that has anything to do with it.

How can I make the names clickable - like the active users?

Also, when doing this something happened to the font sizes on the forum home. They are ok in the forums, but the forum home is out of whack.

found the problem on why my forum home page was jacked up - you need to take the css style out of the info.php before uploading it. other than that, its great and the flashchat program is cool.

has anyone figured out how to get this to work if you have the arcade installed?

I have arcade installed with 3.0.1 and it works fine. Take out that css code and it should work.
