What is this hack?

This hack adds a new IRC type functionto your forum.
You type "/slap" followed by a name to provide the
slap effect. I got the idea of, and based this hack
off the /me code hack.

More hacks sure to come!
(I have plans to create a whole IRC type command kit)

Example effect:
* RoundHost slaps username with a wet trout!

Why not just type "/me slaps username" and get the same effect? Or maybe I misunderstood this. :)

Hmm yes, surely it's the same. But perhaps roundhost has predefined slaps that you can choose from. Roundhost can you verify.

it adds the trout part without it having to be typed out, as best I can tell, is the main difference.. I like it and will install it this evening..

if you could randomize the wet trout part it would be nice ;)

I would love something similar to this, which would allow dynamic replacements of any string (with keywords added in the admin panel)... and HTML enabled.

the built in replacement system isnt suitable, since it also replaces text in thread titles, etc.

Any shot on getting this randomized?

Process post text replacements, abbreviations, fake BBCODE's

although it would have to be modified to handle the case of insertion of html.
