Something to send mass email with just the recipients mailaddress in the TO: field.

I need to contact people that have not recieved the activation mail from my forums manually.

I guess they have some sort of filter on their mailbox and / or there is something wrong with my server.

I need a plugin / program / anything that can send multiple emails to people, but i dont want to put them all in the BCC or in the TO field.

Need something that makes it looks like that I have sent the mail only to that perticular person.

I hope someone can help!

Its in vB, you can mass email your members, just select the awaiting confirmation usergroup. You can use variables in your message such as their activation code, username etc.

Well if sendmail isn't working, try using an SMTP server

I dont know, it is related to the other post I wrote in general modification earlier. vBulletin wont send out anything, i've enabled the -f paramater and everything. Noone recieves the emails sent through vBulletin. :-/ it is aprox. 2 weeks since it worked as it should. I have not installed any new mods since, nor have I changed any codes. I have however changed from hosted to a dedicated server.

If you need a script URGENTLY that will read your database and mail out using alternate methods, then contact me on karths@gmail.com and I'll write one up for you.

Though it would be smart to figure out whats wrong with your sendmail / vB mail script. Who is your webhost anyway?

not sure in vB, but I'm sure Zachery or someone who has used it can help you. Though just guessing, it is probably in the General options, just select it to show all options and search for "sendmail" or "smtp" by your browser.

If you have a dedicated server, hire an administrator to fix up sendmail, it shouldn't take too long.

The problem sounds like its a server related issue, and it probably is (sendmail).

Okay thanks :) I guess others would like that script also, ( combined with vBulletin or not ) But i will contact you on your mail.

My webhost is a norwegian webhost ( servetheworld.net ) , they are absolutely okey when it comes to otehr types of solutions, but they are extremely slow on support issues. Don't even have a support phone, so I have to wait for days until I get a reply from them. I'm thinking of changing to ev1servers.net later on :-/ , I just wanted to test out the local suppliers before I went overseas.
