Request: Thread SUBTITLES (see attachment)

Requested Hack: User defined Subtitles.

It's Function: This hack (see attachment which is a Photoshop mockup) allows members to create (optional) a subtitle for their thread so they can inform other members where their updates may be within the growing thread. Their should be a CAP on the length of the subtitle to about 30 characters. Additionally we would want to move "Thread Started by: X" to be right justified.

This hack allows members to keep others informed about where to find updates, as some threads are rather large in pages. I would be willing to work with anyone who knows how to hack something like this into the forums.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions or ideas.

I am also looking forward to a hack like this.

It's a standard thing on the invision powerboard (IPB). It would be amazing to have the option to enable/disable this per forum.

Still don't understand why vbulletin hasn't added this to all great features of this script?

you can try to do this with dopeGFX's 'extra thread fields' plugin

that hack is not supported anymore, so be aware before you install it
