About Table Heading Color
Hi!!
I'm trying to change the table heading background color for an background image. Anybody knows how can i do this?? I'm trying the same thing with the profile-under-header bar, and i can't. Can anybody help me??? |
Sorry I don't quite understand what you're trying to do :)?
|
Well, i've uploaded a capture from a vBulletin that has this thing i've mentioned.
Do you see the golden texture thing?? It's in the table heading backgroung and in the profile-under-header section. Do you know how i can change it?? Thanx. Peter Forum with the texture thing |
Ok I think I know what you mean. Details on how to edit the 'Category background' are in the Manual over at vBulletin.com :) If you're using vB2 I can't remember hehe but if you're using vB3 go to the styles manager and choose "Main CSS" from the dropdown and you'll see a section for categories :)

Hey, thank you.
I have the 2.3.4 vBulletin version, so i didn't find the answer. If one of you knows how i can do it, please PM me. Lot of thanx |
Go into your admincp. Go to:
Styles > Modify > [fonts/colors/etc] Then go to the 'Category Strip Background Color' and 'Category Strip Font Color' sections :) |
Sorry for being so annoying ¬¬' hhehe, but when i'm in this Category Strip Background Color i see, next to this name, the space for the html color code and the color. What do i have to put instead the html color code???
thanx |
You want a background image to show up right :)?
If so put: Code:
#ahexcodewhichisclosetothebgcolorofyourimage" style="background: url({imagesfolder}/imagename.gif); [/code] |
Lots of thanx. I got it

You're welcome :)

I'm trying to make a different category background for different forums.
I have the default_style that the whole board uses, then I created a new style called blue_style. I went in to the forum manager and I said to use alternate style and selected blue_style, but it only works when someone clicks on the category, then it changes. I want the main page to show up with a red category, blue category, green, whatever...I guess you have to have one style for the whole forum page... Could you make multiple CSS's? And change them up based on category number? :edit: So far This Thread is the closest I've come to finding out what I need, but after the first post they start talking about using an image for a category background, which I can do, I just want to use multiple images for multiple forums. |
