Looks good from the screenshot. Does it generate thumbnails or does it resize the picture? Will you be replacing your vBGarage with this, or are they different enough to have both? Give some more details if possible please.

it generates thumbs as you request them, that way if you choose tomorrow to use 100 width and not 150 your thumbs will be right size and it is totally different then vBGarage, so can run both at same time..

Ive been looking for something where new 'art' would show up in the same way as new posts in a forum. Does this do it?

Ahh, no this is a full gallery. If your not wanting a gallery type set up then this is not what your looking for.

there are a few gallery hacks out there now, im not inclined to pay $75 for one -- unecessary --- sorry -- but it looks nice

Nothing close to this that I have seen, atleast not for free.

Plus I plan alot of add ins as time goes, easy functions for total intergration into forums.

But it is not ideal for all.

Also it does not go up to $75 until tomorrow when it goes RC.

There are plenty of free forums out there, too; but you still paid for vB.

its abit unfair to increas your price by 50% when rc hits.. seems a little snyde to me but its your choice :) I hope its just a once off payment deal, is it?

Yes one time payment, with yearly for upgrades and such.

I have yet to raise the price, I been doing more adding on and doing the installer.

It is not about being 'snide' though, I figure who ever went thru the beta times deserved a price break.

Perhaps maybe making it more during 'RC' is not ideal, instead when it is out of RC.

Honestly the $25 difference matters little to me. But $50 was never ment to be the end cost, just the cost until such time I felt full price was warrented.

You cannot advertise paid mods here at vB.org.. so you might want to change the thread title to what it was previously..

One slight thing i dont see with this mod hack is the ability to have the latest pictures on forumhome. now i dont know if you have this addon in your "private forum" or not but i think this should be as standard.

It is standard now, just a few lines to add, also is going to have per forum options

The download is set up now *the php first time payment hack with dif reoccuring is acting up so I had to set you manual (this is a hack I am working on to release here free where people can have one price first time then reoccuring a dif price).

i am using photopost at the moment

was wondering if i'd be able to keep the forum style and change styles with each seperate style of vbulletin

and have a postbit link that shows only when the user has uploaded pictures to the gallery

and link in the profile to the users gallery with a counter showing how many pics they have in their gallery
i have this on photopost but its buggy

and a good feature that photopost has is the gallery that members pictures show nomatter what catergory they were posted in

The showing no matter where they posted is done using view users gallery.....

The link in post bit I have posted on my site, if you click my sig it shows all the options thus far.

Some time in the future I will be writing a converter from photopost to vBGaller due to I want to switch my other site as well.

I have had photopost and now taken a look at this software, and to be honest I'd still go for Photopost.

i'd prefer the full intergration that this one offers especially since its not a completed product as of yet its beta

which means that it has quite a bit of developments and updates since its new
and because its designed for vbulletin specifically

eventually the intergration will not only be tighter the gallery will become gallery of choice for vbulletin users

I know I am not even close to all of the options of photopost, but as stated it is still going.

People give input and if it holds merit I add it in.

Plus the function list will go way above just the gallery itself, to bring in total intergration.

I have many plans for the future releases , such as file types (flash, media and so on)

It is a fun project :)

$50, it shows $20 in the drop down due to that is the 'reocurring' price every year (updates)

It tells it will be $50 , then $20 yearly (if want updates after a year)

I believe MaxScript was sharing his joy about this commercial hack when he opened this thread so we didn't interfere since it was not a "self-promotion" of a commercial hack and we did NOT regard it as an "hidden advertisement" either.

However I appreciate if we can keep it this way since it is against our rules to "promote" commercial hacks in vb.org threads. I can understand some of our members may have questions about it, but please PM hack author or thread starter for these so that this thread will not turn into an advertisement thread. Thanks for understanding.
