Items Shop for Ushop-Ucash
 

Does any coder think of doing an items shop where we can add items such as Stamp Collection and let members buy using their earned points using the Ushop/Ucash hack?

I had written a similar hack for Lesane's store -- I'll be working on one for Ushop this month and post it as soon as it's done.

We do already have one planed, however we cannot be certain when it will be avaible.

Its great to hear that some of you have plans for this hack. Just one suggestion, if you all could work together, it'd be released faster right?

We are looking for another professional coder to add to our team, but we havent found anyone who is up to our standards yet :)

The way that I'm coding it is pretty easy (thanks to the way that Zack set up the actions in the first place). It will just be a new action that you drop into the uttstore folder and one new template. It will work for my purposes and maybe fill a need while we wait for another solution. Like I said, I wrote this same type of hack for Lesane's store. This one is actually a lot easier for me because this store is set up in modules, which is way cool :).

I'll have my version done tomorrow....

Okay, the hack is posted HERE. For some reason, it's not showing up in the new hacks list on the home page. I must have done something wrong.... any ideas?

From taking a glance at the hack, i see that it's like a real shopping cart in any ecommerce software. However, wat i was looking for is the ability to physically display the items bought somewhere in the postbit or something. For instance, if i were to put a Dell Laptop on sale, then someone bought it, cost $1000, their points would be deducted $1000 but there would be an image of the Dell Laptop in the postbit or above the signature section with a note "Items possessed" or something.

Is this included in the hack ChurchMedia?
