I have been toying with this today, so far I have.

Can make sections (choose if they show on main soon sub sections)
Can upload pictures and make comments
Can view submited images / posts
Auto thumb nails
Images inserted into database

Temp work location http://sanguin.net/forums/gallery.php

I ask you do not sign up for the site, I have it set to allow guests to view (just not upload) So that you do not have to sign up.

Just thought I get some input thus far.

Got replys working. I plan to work on templates and what not a bit later.

Ya on my sanoxs.com site, it will be a pay script or donation area script.

Due to alot work into it, but the price will be more then fair, seein as I know someone who would pay for it private for alot.

Today I will add in

User group permissions per section
Gallery nav bar
Search per user
Members gallery per member
Rate photo

And maybe some other things. I am working on 2 other hacks at same time.

I love the code aspect, just hate doing templates.

i would've loved to do the templates, but this has come at the wrong time for me :(

zacks great at templating though, hope he sees this thread and offers his hand.

I know smedd was good at templates to, never see him about though.

First beta's will prolly be standard template work I did.

Price I still have no clue , prolly 50 per instance, or something small like that.

Will this script allow members to create their own private albums?

Yes, they will have user albums people can browse.

Also they can upload to other areas/sections. I have been very busy on this script, and as I get more feed back on my site I keep adding more options.

It reminds me of the gallery hack for phpbb written by a guy called Smartor:

I am not up on phpbb at all, but I hope that is a good thing :)
