Request: Custom registration fields

I need to add at least 2 more fields to the registration page.
Phone Used
Carriers Used

These should be text fields as i have already added them to the phrases, and to the postbit template so they will show on each person posts.

I have searched and searched, and found some similiar requests.. but not exactly this. I am still new to php so if anybody could help me.. that would be really appreciated..

Thanks
Dave

When you add the profile feilds it should say, Required during/for Registration:
Select either yes, or No, but still display

I already added the cutom fields.. not sure if i saw that... will check.

EDIT-->>>
I just went to add a new field
admincp --> user profile fields --> Add New User Profile Field

and don't see that option..

I really thought VB would have something like this to be able to select which profile fields to diaplay on the registration page..

Just go edit the old ones

I do see on the very bottom " Display Page" but no "registration" page is listed..
It does have other.. but not sure what that means as no other options are available after that is selected..

EDIT --->
Which page displays this option?
Most likely you want to leave this on "Profile" but if you wish to create your own user options that can be manipulated via template conditionals then select "Options". This field will then appear on the "Options" page of the User CP. Also, this field will not appear on the memberlist and will not appear when viewing a user's profile.

If its not a required field then it won't be shown at registration time.
