A man leaves a motel room, goes to his car, honks the horn, and returns to his room. Why?

You may ask me as many yes or no questions as you need to find the answer. No using search engines or reference materials though. Use your own brain and think outside of the box.

He has a girl in that room, but she felt asleep before he could do anything, so he tries to wake her up that way ^^

yes. there is a female in the room
yes, she is asleep
no. he is not trying to wake her up with the horn.

is their anyone else in the room?

The guy is sleep walking (in a very strange case) ?

Besides the aforementioned female? No.

I didn't think it was continuous honking, for that would wake everyone up. One honk certainly wouldn't.

Nope. He didn't take the towels (that I know of) and he didn't forget the woman.

This really isn't fair. The wife got us with this one a while back on the site. ;)

Answer:

It's the middle of the night. The man goes outside to get something from his car, but forgets which room he was in. His wife is deaf, so he honks the car horn loudly, waking up everyone else in the motel. The other residents all get up and turn on their lights, and the man returns to the one room that remains dark.

I was gonna say, the girl told the guy to go make her horny, but hey ok. ;)

He could have asked at the reception which room he has.

He could also have done this because his girl felt asleep and used the occasion to check the other women in the motel.
