With this hack, you will a new part to your board where threads informations (and other new informations) are recorded from wanted forums.

Forums which records in the database are set in the admincp, you can choose too which kind of document is recorded in this database, everywhere in the board, the word Hack will be replace with the new one you set.

Hacks are ranked by categories, in the display's page of hacks, screenshots (gif and jpg image) are displayed, if there are no, the column Screenshot doesn't appear

An installation system is too avaible which count how many users have installed each hack. They select it with an INSTALL/DESINSTALL button which appears in the thread's display and the hack's display

Tha author of the subject, can with an UPDATE button send automatically emails to members who have installed the hack, to send updates, informations ...

You can manage too in usergroup's permissions which usergroups can access to the database

Some statistics are displayed in the database's home page, you can configure number of stats to display

In member's profile is displayed too which hacks have been created


This hack can be usefull for board with tutorials by example, or car gallery in specified forums ...

ok im upto showthread.php - this is where people are gonna fall by the wayside unless they know what they doing as what there is to look for is more than one occurance of them so its thrown me really as the same code appears maybe not once but 2 and 3 times sometimes so its knowing which one to either edit or put the code under.

I will continue on with rest of hack and hopefully u can re-do the showthread install bit.

but when i go to view a post i do with this hack i get the no permission screen ?
so i cant even see any data i have entered into the database cause i dont have permission LOL

so noone else had probs installing this (mainly showthread.php) cause ive still got probs with it even now.Cant view anything i add cause i dont have the right permissions.

To those who have installed it, does it look like it could be tweaked to become a CMS type of mod? I need something for articles that contain images. It looks possible but I will wait for install until the instructions are updated for showthread.php, thanks!

Modifications in showthread should be ok, it has benn tested, retested and I don't see why you have a showpermission error viewing a thread lasto

VBDev i found some problems u can see that in attach pics, and i already marked them!!

other question, this hack seem to work after install ,if i already have topics in that forum(whatever forum i set)how should i make them show up in hack database?

If you have already installed this hack, a bug was found this afternoon, just do whit is in the attached file

@squawell : replace the template hacks_liste_hack with the new one in the templates.xml file

Do the same for hacks template

Most of the problem come from the copy/paste from the textarea box of vB, some lines were passed, that's why you have some problems with templates

Then, replace modifications to do in MEMBERINFO template with :

In your admincp/usergroup.php, have you :

Then replace your hacks.php file with the new one in the zip file at the begining of the thread, wait 5 min, I do it now ;)

found it it was the setting in user group manager "Can see $vboptions[hack_kind_db]s in the database"

hmm scrap that, seems to only work for my administrators group, i added my registered users and subscribers groups and they still get the permissions error sigh :(

After installation and add the phrases the I have not languages and my navbar are without words.. i added the problems...

I have the shoutbox working perfectly but I think I did something to my admincp.index file because I cannot see my shoutbox in the admincp. Also, when I follow the directions and try to find :
