I don't know why everyone is getting so excited. If you are running RC3 or RC4, it's not going to be much different than what you are already running. The style is supposed to be different, I think, but most boards have more than one style now and will pronbably continue using that after the upgrade, anyway. ;)

the style will be the same just with new images and apart from that not much will change just a few lines of code, i myself am excited about seeing the new site and having vb3 sit on the back burner while other Jelsoft products come to fruition.

I am excited because the hacking community will go into 'overdrive' with hacks, many new hacks will appear, woot.

what you all on about :) The site is still there :) If you read what you are told in the pop up, it says the forums are still open, and yes it is still running RC4

Later today vBulletin.com will disappear behind password protection so that we can start to get the new site in place ready for the vB3 release.

This will mean that both the main vBulletin.com site and the Members' Area will be unavailable.

We will try to keep the forums open while the rest of the site is being maintained.

Expected downtime is a few hours.

I've been holding fire with the forums on my new project until Gold's release.

I'm highly intrigued about these new images.
I'm guessing I probably won't like them at first though, I'm not usually one that likes change.
