Hide Moderator and Administrator activity
 

Hey :)

I have seen this hack on a board that I moderate, and I am wondering where I can get the hack or if someone can modify it to work with 3.0.0

What the hack does is it hides what the administrators and moderators are doing at the present time. Wheras regular members it will say "Viewing [insert thread name here]," for moderators it will say something else the entire time they are online.

It doesn't affect showing the last time they moved, it just doesn't show where they're going on the boards.

I figured if I added that in it would help anyone.

i would guess you could just edit the phrases :)

Ashley, I can show you 2 template edits that will Hide where the Admin is in the profile and not list the Admin at all in the Who's Online. Let me know if you are interested and I can pm you the code. ;)

I'd definately be interested in this. I dont think any members are too thrilled with the profile listing where they were last.

Boofo, do you still have the code for this for vB3 (not vB 3.5). I'm looking for a hack that will not show the total correct members online (when admin is in invisible mode) in the "Whats Going On?" section at the bottom of your forum.

Because by default, even if your in invisible mode as admin with two other members online. They can still tell there is a staff member online because in that section at the bottom of the forum it will always show 3 members as being online.

What I want to do is - when the admin is in invisible mode, I don't want him to be counted as a member online in that "Whats Going On?" section at the bottom of the board. So it would just look like there's only 2 members online. And it would'nt list you as a member online there when invisible as admin logged on.

Chris (formerly hellsatan) did a plug-in for this a few days ago for another member here. I can't remember what thread it was in, though, sorry. Do a search for it and I'm sure it will turn up. ;)
