Installed. :)

Nice work! Here's an HTL installer for anyone who wants/needs it.

gmarik 02-13-2004 03:35 PM

Nice one. Could you conver the point system to 5 star system?

vbmechanic 02-13-2004 03:52 PM

Thanks..

Describe how you'd want a 5 star system to work.

To me, doesn't seem like it would be any different from changing the green dots to stars and limiting the # output to 5.

Installed, nifty mod :)

AxelF 02-13-2004 06:51 PM

Installed this hack, would it be possible to make an enhancement to this hack so it shows, the comments you have posted, thread and date and time etc, a table just like the comments you have received etc? :)

msimplay 02-13-2004 07:35 PM

what about who gave u clicks ?

achtungbaby 02-13-2004 08:41 PM

Excellent work! Wow, was this created in response to my request? If so, you guys are responsive...!

Anyway, wanted to also ask: is there a way to display the reputation given in the same manner as received? That is, to be able to view your own comments, how much you gave, etc...

That is more or less what I was suggesting in my post. It would be a great enhancement to this hack. ;)

Nobody can help us? :(

Anette 06-13-2004 12:34 PM

Bump!

vbmechanic 06-13-2004 02:19 PM

Sorry, it has to do with the TABLE_PREFIX you're using. The query needs some adjustment.. try:

PHP Code:

$recipients=$DB_site->query("SELECT reputation.userid,user.username FROM " TABLE_PREFIX "reputation AS reputation
                    LEFT JOIN "
TABLE_PREFIX ."user AS user ON user.userid=reputation.userid
                    WHERE reputation.whoadded='"
.$bbuserinfo['userid']."' ORDER BY dateline DESC LIMIT 0,10");

I tried to re-install this for vb 3.0.3 and get a weird result. The 10 people last listed repeat probably 50+ times, ordered 1-10. Ideas?

TTG 07-12-2004 08:22 AM

Installed on 3.0.1 and have the last 10 keep repeating .. now up to 30 and all the same. I've stopped giving reputation credits !?

turbidblue 07-20-2004 12:38 AM

so damn easy to install :)

thanks so much!

Anyone solved this problem ?

Tipi 10-04-2004 06:25 PM

I can't get this to work. I did everything the file told me to do, but it's no changes in the userCP. :(

I had the same problem but couldn't find an answer so I did a kludge myself.

It appears that the hack is ran five times since it shows 50 entries with 1-10 repeated 5 times. So in order to limit the effects I made it so only the last one stuck.

Code:

above
while ($recipient=$DB_site->fetch_array($recipients))

add
$lastclicks = '';

It would of been nicer to know why it is running five times.
