I can't view the image attachments.

What does that mean? Shouldn't i be seeing an image there?

I don't know if my screen shot works, because it doesn't work for me

There may an attachment with an extreme aspect ratio or the same color as the Dark Blue style set.

In your post, I see your attached image as a thumbnail.

But wouldn't the image be larger?

Now i see a link to the attachment, no longer thumbnail

Now the attachment problem is back.

I tried switching skins, but i can't view them.

you may change your threadviewing options?

also i think i've disabled image-inline showing on some subforums ;)

I just can't view attachments in Thumbnails.

It's perfectly working as you can see on my screenshot below.

It may be your Browser/Browsercache to be working incorrectly

disable showing images within posts and you shall see a link instead of images.
then you can at least look at the screenies.

i can't help you more, the problem is on your side..

Do you have ZoneAlarm? I think I heard something about that a long while ago making thumbnails *disappear*, although I could be wrong.

hmm, i use Zonealarm myself and the thumbnail is here ;)

Okay, this is a post A:\ made in the "Control Panel Screengrabs" thread at vB.com about 3/4 of a year ago. He saw nothing where the image was supposed to be.

hmm, maybe it's the pro-version.
i just use the free one, as i have a hardware firewall as well..

Thats exactly what it was. Zone Alarm was blocking the images to appear.

The option to block banner/skyscraper ads is only in the PRO version.

I unchecked that and now problems solved.

good to know, it's not a vb problem :)
