Ok first of all shell geeks tells me that he has a big crush on me then offers to host my forum for free then the next minute my forum has been deleted by him and then he tells me to fo F*ck off? Man..... this is why I date women only.

Thats pretty pathetic, sorry that all your work is gone, but that is why I don't particularly trust people with my work. If there's anyhthing I can do to help let me know. Your last comment was funny though.

Thanks for the bit of sympathy.... funny part is I didnt even see it coming either. I was like "wow free hosting and faster speeds... and all because he thinks I'm pretty!" He even said stuff like "I feel this connection between us thats why I'm hosting you." I even put up a banner that linked to his hosting site and stuff. And a few months ago I just spent $90 on ghetto hosting and I really want to switch to new hosting but all my custom GFX are on HIS server..... which I spent weeks doing. I feel like I wanna die here.... I really dont know what to do here... :cry:

I've had hosting before that simply deleted all of my information, but I still had backups of my main scripts etc. I just didn't have a backup of my vbulletin data. ( That's why backing up is important, though I still probably wouldn't do it ) But hopefully you have some kind of psd's or other saved images on your hd? If not try to find out who his host was and see if they can do anything for you, other then that all I can say is to next time go for your own hosting, don't take offers from people who can't offer you guarentees. As for the "connection" and "he thinks I'm pretty" sorry to say, but people change like the time, and thats all the time, yes most people are assholes OR at least it seems that way to me.

Unfortunatley he is in charge of his own hosting (shelltopia) and he doesnt answer any of my e-mails or nothing..... so contacting them does no good. I give up.

Quite frankly if you're stupid enough to accept an offer of free hosting from someone who has a crush on you and doesn't run a proffesional hosting company then I can't offer any sympathy your way.

I did warn you when you told me you moved over. And if i remember correctly i told you last nite he had deleted your site, but Nooooo you told me i was lying etc remember ;)

As blunt as Mists post was, it was also true. I personally would never move a big forum like yours was, to a new host, especially one you do not know of, and isnt 100% professional. At least with my host they are friends of mine, and do everything for me (Php help/advice and even make html pages and images for me all for free)

So basically, Sorry to hear about it, but i did try to warn you :(

I see your domain now redirects to a porn site. I would head to your registrar and chenge the dns server to get rid of the redirect. If you don't and decide to open up again your former users will not come back.

And women can't be jerks either? You must not get out much.

Was he the one that bought your domain for you?

If you meant madcat, she cannot edit the DNS of her .com because she did not buy it herself and does not have the log in info to change it ;)

She dates women because she thinks men are jerks, i'm telling her that women can be jerks also, maybe she shouldn't date since she is so young and can't make up her mind. But i'm glad she doesn't date, then she can't breed.

Like i told her in the other topic, she should of used common sense. Someone offered to host me, pay for my license and buy me the domain. I bought the domain and accepted the other two, since they can be replaced and the domain can't.

Fair enough but i think the "then she cant breed" comment was unnesassary (however you spell the bloody word :) )
