Events Calendar Ticker on Non-VB Pages.

I am looking for this hack since a while.
If anyone already worked on this subject, or ready to work on it, please reply.
I can also do it by myself but someone will have to guide my steps.

Any helps appreciated, thanks a lot.

i'd love to have upcoming calendar events on non vB pages, i've tried to get it to work, however the $upcomingevent only showed 12-1-1969 or somethign so the queries didn't work

$events $DB_site->query("select * from event order by dateline DESC limit 5");

if (
$DB_site->num_rows($events))
{
print
"<marquee>";
        while (
$ev $DB_site->fetch_array($events))
        {

$news="";

$new_date vbdate('l F d, Y'$ev['dateline'], falsefalse);

$news .= "<B>".$new_date."
"
;

$news .= $ev['title']."<BR>";
