Gama Site Manager Integration

I loved Gamasoftware.com's Gama Site Manager so I decided to integrate it with vBulletin.

What is GSM?
-Its a full featured home page system, that allows you to create and manage your own site from a fast, and user friendly admin control center.
-Its very flexible and powerful allowing lots of control without tons of confusion.
-It uses the gama template system, meaning its very easy to template.
-It uses the gama sprite system, meaning you can easily upload images and use the custom image tag to call them to ensure that your images wont show up incorrectly if a file is renamed or moved.
-By default it comes with a news system which archives your news for back reading when it falls off of the main page. Allows users to comment on the news posts too. It also allows users to post news suggestions that can be accepted in the control center and displayed on the home page when accepted.
-A downloads system, that allows files to be organized and allows users to download and comment on the files.
-A core system to allow you to back up your site, or share features from your site with other GSM users.
-Too many to list them all!

What this does:
1) User Permissions on pages
2) Userbase from vBulletin
3) FAST CMS! integrated with vBulletin

Note: I did NOT do this totally by myself. Zajako helped me with some questions I had, and as such I gave him credit in the hack.

Like it? https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/ it!

Is there a demo, or a screenshot. :)

Rein Masamuri 01-10-2004 06:12 AM

As for the integration, I did it for a private board so I can't give the url.
But you can demo GSM at their site http://www.gamasoftware.com/demos.php

It's only for games,

FleaBag 01-10-2004 03:26 PM

Looks like a good alternative, I may try this out.

Think PHPNuke on crack!

Zachery 01-14-2004 03:24 PM

no dont think PHPnuke on anything

both nuke systems that im aware of are heavly bloated with useless code and crap.

GSM is a very highly configureable system with no added BS

Red Blaze 01-14-2004 08:32 PM

GSM works really good, I would use it, but I already have GSM for my site. Nice idea though.

EDIT: Oh wait, I can't use it in the first place 'cause I don't use vb3. x_x;

Heh, I can understand if he doesn't want to go through the hassel of upgrading all his hacks etc but if you're not running vB3 why are you in the vB3 hack area? LOL

VeoMorphine 02-02-2004 04:17 PM

do you need to pay to use GSM?

Yes...

Rein Masamuri 02-05-2004 08:19 AM

I don't know the price because I have the advanced license but its well worth the price of the $100 membership for all the software ^_^

Chrissicom 07-18-2004 09:00 AM

well I like the work you've done, but I won't use GSM for SBC (my community) because it's not free :p vB 3 is the only thing I paid for except the hosting.

Malice 10-13-2004 06:55 PM

I am a little unsure of the purpose...

Does it build on the vBulletin database to allow users to have "webpages" per say?
