Please release a new version of this hack for vb3.

About what? I'm requesting Chen FireFly's Attachment Viewer Hack for vb3.

does it give you a preview of the attachments or sumthing? as thats a very old hack

No it basically just opens up the image in a full page template that matches your site instead of opening the image in a blank browser window.

why would you want to waste the extra bandwidth?

the amount of bandwidth to display a little html around an image is very mininmal, plus it allows you to insert ads and so on around the image.

ill see if i can bug chen and ask if he will let me release somthing based on it :)

This would fit my needs as well. In my forum lots of images are used but I would like to open a thumb in a nice styled (new) page with a "close window button" instead of the (ugly) default way...

I hope its gonna be finisched/released.

I'd also like this. Just finally upgrading to 3 and I'm frustrated that I can't just write anything I want anymore. going to take some time to learn everything new.

anyway, I'd like to see the attachment viewer for photos & have it show thumbnails of the other photos in that thread with next / previous buttons.

if I come up with anything, i'll let you know

I'm willing to pay for the hack if thats what it takes. :)
