Has anyone made a community bulletin generator for vbulletin 3 like this one: News & Email Community Bulletin Generator or like that one?

Well, I used this one for a long time:

It was developed by tubedogg. Unfortunately, it doesn't appear to be incorporated into vB3. This is very unfortunate IMO.

i use the CommBull too, would like to see it make it's vb3 return :)

why not use the email thinger in vB3? i have a feeling Kier and Tubedogg had a good ammount of imput on it

Because the "email thinger" is useless and barebones. The community bulletin generators we're talking about include configurable dynamic content from the board.

not true you can use any alot of varibles from the board. but if anyone will be porting that hack you will probally need to contact Tubedogg or Kier :)

I count five usable variables in the control panel in a single box for typing content. That is useless compared to what the small hacks we're referencing can do. I don't understand why 98% of the Email Manager is devoted to sending options instead of content.

yup, i'm quite in agreement, the CommBull was quite a large add-on and essential to my community, some of my members really appreciae it.

i'd like to see it more configureable though, colours etc :)

I'd love to see this hack ported to vb3 as well. It is such a timesaver!

Wow! Well, good luck on this project. A lot of members will be truly happy with you once you submit it as a hack.
