Hack is working without errors with the new vB 3.0.0 RC1

Some of us played in the past the game "Super - Kniffel" for the vb 2.x.x. I have now converted this game to vb 3.x.x.
Everbody who is using vb3 can now use the "Super - Kniffel" Hack.

Its the same "Super - Kniffel" that you know about. Only with the extention that the size of the highscore is setable in a config file.
Full support for the table praefixes too.

The hack would also work with further coming vb3 versions.

Some Informations:

changes in vB 3 files: 0
new templates: 10
new files: 3
sql changes: 1
new graphics: 14
is running after: 5-10 minutes.

Last update of the Hack's: 27.11.2003 at 23:41 o'clock.

Ich habe das nun auf das vB 3.x.x angepasst.
Also alle die ein vB 3 verwenden k?nnen jetzt auch das Super - Kniffel ins Board einbauen.

Es ist das gewohnte Super - Kniffel, nur mit der Erweiterung, das man
?ber eine config Datei die gr??e der Highscore anpassen kann und
nat?rlich auch den Tabellenprefix, den man beim vB 3 ja hat.
Es geht also bei allen, auch wenn sie einen Tabellenprefix verwenden.
Es sollte auch ohne Probleme bei folgenden neueren Versionen des vB 3 laufen.

Please get a readable English translation and put it in the first post of the thread. People read the first post to understand what it is and it is in German. Besides English translation below is not very clear. Frankly I didnt understand what the hack is doing. Thanks..

OK, but can you tell me what this hack is? Is it a game? You gave a link to your site, but it is not in english so I cannot see the Kiffel in there. Can you give me an exact link to the hack in action?

It's a game it's based on Yathzee, the only thing is Yathzee is with 5 dices now there 6. The game looks great.

If Smoker agrees i can try to make a translation to english, i can read 70% German but not speak or write it, the other 30% i can ask some one else.

smoker has given his permission to translate the script i will begin asap. It will take some time.

The translation is 97% done there are some translation errors but that should not be a major problem.

i have included a detaild desciption where everything runs from so you can change to your liking.

OK, I think I get this game, but I have a coupld of questions:

What is a "Triple and Two" and how do you get it?
What is a "Two and Tribble" and how do you get it?
Is this supposed to say "Two and Triple" instead of "Two and Tribble"??
Is an "Oddly" a roll of all ODD numbered dice?
Is a "Straight" a roll of all "Even numbered dice?

OK, thanks to We are borg and vega for the translations. I went through the entire hack and cleaned up what I think is the last of it. I used Bablefish to do some of the final translations tho.

Anyway, I have also modified the "kniffel_anleitung.txt" file so that this template will have bigger and better instructions. I hope this helps out.

Anyway, I am attaching the zip file to this message. In it, you will find the translated template files and the translated php files.

this is a update i forgot to save the file i was working on so this one is more compleet.

If you wish to install the english version from the beginning then use zip file (you don't need the php file).

If you have it installed you'll only need yo update the kniffel.php file.

There are still errors in the translation but i don't know to edit php so that it's more logicly put to getter in the english version. The translation is done by translating German to Dutch and that to English you can see the problem in that. The Dutch langauge is not put in writing but i must think it so that is the most difficult part.
But still it's works. if your unhappy with the translation kniffel_play is the one you'll look at when you play the game in this file the names are set by example full house, cube and so on.

I hope you'll love this game now it's translated for the big part of it. It's a great game.

Is this mod going to be re-written for vBB v3.5? I love this addition and would hate to lose it.
