Installing THANKS :) |
Nice hack Mr Lee :)
As always, I have it installed on my site :) Satan |
I've downloaded, I'll install it later. :)
|
I just did the update to vB3.0.0 RC1, now I'm getting a java script error with vBindex Pre-RC2
with gamma and pre-rc2 I had no problems. what's wrong? regards, Schorsch |
Just installed and oh my god how easy was the installation :)
Could do with some links in the admin Control panel i guess :) Otherwise it works like a dream and it was smooth and easy to install thank you!! **clicks install** |
i just upgraded my forum to RC1 and vbindex works perfectly with it :D
|
Damn you and your "Fully Integrated SHoutbox" and "100% Valid XHTML 1.0" templates! :p
Now I bet fewer people will even bother with my shoutbox... I feel so unloved. :disappointed: Oh, and by the way, nice hack. If I were into portals, I'd use it (except for the shoutbox, I made my own damnit! :D) |
Works great, bar one problem. I have the following message coming up whenever i access the page
Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /absolute path to forums/BVE/forums/vbindex.php on line 747 I have the vbindex in the same dir as the forums, so i commented that chdir peice out as instructed, and am getting this error, any ideas anyone? EDIT> It looks like it pertains to the eventcache.php file, which i have put in the /includes/cron dir as instructed, so it isn't down to it being in the wrong place |
What version of php are you running?
|
The webhost is running php v4.2.1
|
Ah, in an update i think i got it, looks like I had to type in the absolute url to the forums, and THEN comment it out? go figure. But whatever it was, it got rid of that bloody message, lol.
|
Nice work mate, glad you fixed it :)
|
thx mate
for ur great work |
Great work - I'll install this definetly.
Is there a "Link" & "Download" section? |
Very nice work, i will be downloading when i get home from work :D
|
I can get this to work when I put it in my root forum folder, but not my website root folder. I think the thing tripping me up is entering the path. Exactly what format would it be it? (Keep in mind Im pretty much n00b at this.)
|
I can't get this to work period. I have uninstalled it for the time, deleted all database entries I can find.
|
WOW! This thing rocks! one question...
How to you make the custom blocks? Edit: THIS IS THE BEST PORTAL EVER AND THE EASIST TO INSTALL! |
NTLDR i got a small request, Can you post an add on to show the shoutbox on the forum index page? Either as a side column or vertical? I know this steers away from the Portal aspect of it, but it would be nice to have it there aswell :)
|
its there I installed it you can see it on my site!
|
I could only get this working when in my root forum folder aswell, still it makes little difference and is very nice thanks.
|
that is because you forgot to change the paths in the templates probally I think you should make the template mods again!
|
Kickass with the hack release! I don't mean to spam the thread, but wanted to congratulate you.
vBindex has come a long way and the hack definately shows all the hard work you've put into it. Thanks!! :D |
