Comments and Critique on the new style!

Personally, I think it's VERY clean for a default style and definitely a huge improvement over the ol' purple & white.

The new thread tools are awesome, easy to use, intuitive.

The postbit is very well done, a bit cluttered on non-avatar using, long name individuals, but other than that.

JavaScript makes me feel bloat, and I hate it because it's not consistent among browsers. But hey, if the users like it..

I don't like the fact that they throw usernames under thread titles on forumdisplay now. Hell, those usernames aren't even clickable -.-'

vB3 Gamma looks cool; still waiting for it to be available for download so I can play with it. And I really hope that my skin colours are preserved :(

So is that the final release now? or just a newer beta?

It is gamma so now we will see about 3 RC versions and then Final by the end of the year or so they say...

Hrm, before I left they were upgrading. Now I come home and they got an error! Damn.

But I like the overall style. I'm personally going to get rid of the dropdowns...

Well yes, they're ironing out the bugs before they release it for downloading.

Another thing I find weird is the fact that they put our usernames on top, and separate each post o.O;;

And someone commented it looked kinda like a mix with Ikonboard. That's attributed to the forum depth links thingy at the top o.o

It is overall excellent except for one fatal flaw: its massive dependency on Javascript. IMO, it's completely unacceptable for any web page to rely on Javascript for any critical aspect.

I dont like it as much as beta 7, I hope you can change the way the users names are, just looks bad that way.

Very nice and professional. The drop down navbar is sweet.

I like the way they went with the postbit as well, reminds me of the design I made. ;)

Now, to see if it is available for download. :D

hate the new design >_< i switched to vB Classic on the forums, and i also do not like the javascript dependancy. i think it deffenetly could be done better

love it completely, it's totally awesome imo :)

just don't like teh missing buttons in the postbit (pm/email/www/search/buddy)

They are technically still there, you just have to click on the username in the thread in order to view the options for that.
