Ok well im seeing the default vB design. And you havent done step 4 yet for that so i cant help you out any more YET until thats done for that style lol.
|
Ive done the step 4, I went and added a replacement in the admin cp, and put the path to my skin name, is that wrong?
|
Do the replacement as you said but where it says code to find or something put
{imagehome} then in the box under put your images path Make sure you do this for ALL styles though (Should be a drop down box of styles when enterin this replacement) |
Do need to put the full url or can I just put like, forums/skin.
I think Ive done it both ways now. Still the same thing. |
Ok you just do something like forum/images/blah
But you still havent done it for your default style which for me is showing up as the default vB purple skin. So i cant see if your putting the code in wrong until you modify that one :s |
I only have one skin, so I have no idea where the purple is coming from, lol It doesnt make sense to me.
|
Ok well you probably have 2, Default, and the one you use :p
Click on STYLES MODIFY and it should show too. What i usualy do is click PROPERTIES on the DEFAULT one and change its templates etc etc too the one you always use. |
No, its only showing one, i made the skin I installed my default.
|
I just installed this yesterday and was having the same problem. The background color (the purple) is hard coded in the css. You have to change it to {pagebgcolor} or whatever you use for your bg color in your styles in the "home_headinclude" template.
Also, my images weren't showing up either and I tried everything. What's weird is that when I have it set in the Options to NOT allow members to choose styles (and it goes to the vb default style), it makes it the button images not load AND none of my additional top buttons show either, not even red x's, but when I allow styles, they all show up fine. It's like vbhome is accessing two different headinclude files but I don't know how that could be. |
