Is this forum very very slow for the past week or is it just me? Maybe it's time for a server upgrade dont yall agree :)

nope, been very fast in general, however vbulletin servers have been expirencing some DDOs attacks :)

Lol. True and you got to believe its because of the let down with vB3.

i was using my psychic skills of persuasion on Xenon yesterday in IRC to tell him to allow vB3 hacks, i think a few more sessions and their'll be an annoucement ;)

however i might release a vb2 hack before then ;)

It's because vB3 hacks are not allowed yet...

I meant the let down in a gold release of vB3 means a let down in the release of vB3 hacks here :)

Most people now have all that vB.org has too offer for vB2 and are meerly waiting for vB3 ones etc.

But Aparantly we should get RC (is that what its called? lol) before december 5th :) As said on vb.com

the forums have been rather slow for more in the past couple of days not sure why though.

same here. i'm on cable modem and my explorer icon would just turn and turn and turn. then it would go fast, then slow. :(

Serverloads are 1 -3 during the last weeks, at least since the ddos, but we have no influence on the server itself.

Just out of curiosity, Xenon you may know the answer to this, but why do vBulletin have all sites on one server? Isnt that risky if the server messes up?

Its been slow for me ever since the VB3 upgrade, but I think that has something to do with how IE reads tables since it loads fairly quick in NS. But yeah, it does seem like its been slower than usual for the past couple of days.

eh just a bug in my comp, anyway.

The server has been loading pretty fast for me, except for the Ddos attack last week, vB.org DID went down in a result of that (Given that this site is on the same server as vBtemplate and .com)

I don't have any probs with it
