have`nt been able to get on and most times when i go to come here i get the dns message `site not found ` etc.

Is there a problem with url or something as i have just got on using a proxie

if i try without it i cant even see the board - weird i know

alot of times it just times out for me.

DDoS attacks.

You'd think so, but what can you do. Federal investigators have been contacted, but I doubt they could do much as the attack is generated in China, which at last check, didn't give a damn about US Internet law.

it's just annoying as posting has been hit hard :(

got in just now without proxie so lets hope it fans out and everything gets back to how it was.

Why are we getting DDoS attacks? And what where there demands?

They want something from Jelsoft, but they havn't said what to the public. And since this site is on the same site as the .com one it goes down to.

Some idiot or script kiddie has decided to DdoS VO. Although I do recall something being said that the demands weren't about vB.

I know what the demands weren't (somewhat surprising, too, given that they were probably idiots). I'm not necessarily at liberty to share, though.

Bush aint hated the world over though - a few decent voices does not count for everyone.People whinge about war but yet they still enjoy the blanket of secuirty it provides.
Whether america was right to invade Iraq or not is another issue and im pretty sure these DDod attacks have nothing to do with politics so will end here before another thread gets closed.

My theory = They're vB license ran out and they have been forced to use phpBB.
