Gah, when is vB.com going to be back up?
It's been down for two days or so now... if VO indeed blocked their IP address (I believe I read that in another thread here), shouldn't they have just gotten a new one by now? I can understand when some downtime occurs, but this is getting ridiculous. :(
Not to mention the business they're losing because of this... |
They are back up now and Kier said he would post an announcement about the attacks on vbulletin.com server and on the status of vB3.0 RC 1

I still can't get to the site :(

Kier mentioned that he had to ban partial IP addresses to prevent the DdoS attack, so some users will not be able to access the site

That sucks! I don't even get a banned message or anything.
I just get We can't find "www.vbulletin.com" oh well.. hope they stop the attacks |
Arg.. double message.
|
Um - I meant to say I have browsing problems, not I have no browsing problems...
Apparently alot of 80.xxx.xxx.xxx IPs were blocked, my IP range included... I posted a support ticket via a friend's machine, and Kier said it would be sorted soon hopefully:) Satan |

I'm a paying customer, I'd just like to have access to the product I payed for! I just fired off an email to support@vbulletin.com, in the hope that someone can do something about this. :/ |
