Matrix: Revolutions -- Who watched it? Thoughts?
It was awesome, better than the 2nd one as I hoped it would be. The ending still was confusing, but it was a pretty good ending. I would rate it as decent.
What do you guys think about it? The fighting was better than the 2nd one in my opinion, and the flow of the movie seemed to jump around a bit, but it was still fascinating to me! I SAW IT TODAY!! |
The Matrix sucks! :)

1. The ending is a cliffhanger, just like in Matrix 2. 2. Neo and Trinity dies 3. The "Kid" is actually The One 4. Morpheous and that girl captain kisses. 5. It basically ends off where the first one begins. 6. Neo is blind. 7. There is a massacre in Zion, a nice 1/2 hour of body ripping and shredding. :D :D :D |

I have yet to see the movie, but now read the spoilers by accident. It's generally not a good idea to mock a moderator either.
If this was my forum, you'd be in an utter state of pain right now. :-x |

and plain and simple if you do not want to know what happenes then do not read this thread! |

Of the things he has said, I have to admit they are common sense or false. Like number 1, there is no cliffhanger. It ends. Nothing more, nothing less. 3 is sooooo wrong. The Kid's father was a program, the Kid's mother was a program, the kid's father said so himself she was a program, so her herself, is a program. Programs can program and control things of the matrix, like the sky. 4 is common sense that they get together again, love interest was shown in the second movie. 5 is false and should be apparent. The One isn't originally aware of it's surroundings... And the kid isn't human, the kid is a program. If it was a program, there wouldn't be any need for the one... So it doesn't ends off where the original begins, because there is no longer a need for a one unless the robots rebel once again the matrix is reactivated, which wouldn't happen in that "Kid's" life-time if the "Kid" was originally a human, which the kid is not. And the kid had such a minut role that it wouldn't make sense to make her the one. and number 6 is a small part in the movie other than a few parts, and it was spoiled in the trailer. And no, I didn't spend a lot of time processing this information, it's common computer terms and basic English/Philosophy. The movie is only about fate and not much more. Next time understand the story before opening your mouth. Ha Zah. |
You didn't say anything about number 2. I HAVE to see this move. Seems like the movie of the year so far.

They die... You want to know how. SEE THE MOVIE |
It really annoys me when people spoil it for everyone else - at least give it a month before things like this *rolls eyes*

"Matrix: Revolutions -- Who watched it? Thoughts?"
I saw it yesterday and honestly, I was really dissapointed... So far, my preferate stays the first matrix. |
Follow-up to a Follow-up - contains SPOILERS. In fact, don't read a thread written by people who have seen the Matrix and not expect to find spoilers.

The matrix is not deactivated. It lives on. Otherwise the machines die. They require prolonged human energy to survive. The only indication of anything different is that the machines will allow "x" number of individuals to leave the Matrix (whom obviously have it figured out that they are in one - and how many is THAT? Did Neo ever do that without some help?). What's "x" number of people? 10,000? 1,000,000? The Matrix is still very much alive and will continue to be until the group of Xion folks downstairs (who were no match for the machines) decide to rise up and start another human-provoked war (see Animatrix). I don't see a bunch of humans living below ground without holding some bitter distaste for the machines above ground that still live off their brothers and sisters. There is no clear indication of what happens to Neo at the end. One can only say he "appears" a certain way. Could Neo be back in another sequel? Sure. This trilogy offers no real closure. |

Man, I can't believe some of you are complaining about this thread containing spoilers. Are you KIDDING me?
If you didn't want to see spoilers, why on Earth would you click on the thread? Common sense, people! |
The question is, why wouldnt you click it?
It is all a matter of choice, you can either click the right thread or you can cli....................(babbles on i think you get the drift here ;) ) :p (jus playin with you futureal, not attempting to start an argument or anything) |
I don't think they can leave Zion. I think it is probably pretty cold on the surface. I think that is the only place they said was warm. If you get rid of the machines they still probably can't live up there for aleast a few centuries.
