that's like a blatant proArcade rip, altho i've seen that exact same hack with the vBpA templates but i thought i'd show the hack makers board instead

sadly, its what you get when a product is open source.

It's pretty funny that they changed the name of the arcade, but the filename is still proarcade.php. :)

Viewable source, not open source. Open source means freely redistributable with some restrictions. Viewable source means that you just happen to be able to see the source code.

He's obviously converted the code as vB code and WBB code are different. I can't see the problem. You can't copyright an idea :)

They were either taken to court or almost taken to court once by Jelsoft. It turned out that the code wasn't identical, although some of the templates are word-for-word rips.

People these days - they don't know the joy of coding things for themselves

It's more like they can't do it for themselves.

Actually, if you look at wBB's code and vB's code, you'll notice that they're very dissimilar.
