Play music just when browsing in specific forums
 

Hoi Folks...

Firstly, I want to use these Hack as a joke, but now I love it. I´ve searched for it, but I didn´t find it.

You want to play music just when browsing in specific forums, maybe in your sound forum?

This is great! I been looking for a hack like this for a long time! As soon as I find a midi for my forum I'll install this puppy!

One thing: It doesnt seem to loop :confused:

next time please release it in a .txt

and if your going to release it here polish up your english abit and ask for some help, only problem with this

replace

$forumid == X

with

$bbuserinfo['userid']==X

X being the user id of the person

with

$bbuserinfo['userid']==X and $forumid == X

please remember if you installed the original you will have a forumid where X is so look for the number

Chris-FH, nice hack, For a future version you may want to intergrate this in the Admin CP;) (It's not too hard:))

it happened on this specific page :) so i wanted to test it here :)

it would have been cool to add some options via the aCP

i am doing the admin cp for this as we speak should be done in a few days :)

ANOTHER QUICK ADDON

to play to a certain usergroup in a certain forum

replace

$forumid == X

with

$bbuserinfo[usergroupid]==X and $forumid == X

dont forget to use the admin cp to find out what usergroup and forum id you want these to play in :)

I just realized that this doesn't edit any vB files so it's not a hack

Yes, it will play mp3-files, but only the Internet Explorer will play it, not Opera and not the Netscape an his clones.

Tonight I`ll update the TXT-File:

- The ADDONs by Mickie D (is this okay for you?)

- At the moment I take only the (Background-Sound-) HTML-Code for the Internet Explorer, I will update it with the HTML-Code for the Navigator.

i am writing the admin part for this but i have had a snag lol ... i cant rememebr the mysql codes lol so i am reading over my mysql tut to get it right will be a few days still as i have alot of private work on :(
