[ANSWERED] What will vb.org do?
 

What will vBulletin.org do when they come out with RC and the new style? Will you revert everything and then redo all the styles or just keep them as they are now?

We use the new style by the winner of our competition who will get free owned vB and Hivemail licenses. ;)

So are you going to drop the current style or are you evetually going to redo them as well?

we'll update the masterstyle and then we'll see how much work it'll be to keep the old styles.
if it's easy to convert them, we'll keep the old ones, too :)

Now that Beta 7 is out, converting styles is a bit harder, with the new image subdirectories. :)

i know that, actually i wouldnt minded have making a fully new style but my minds been blank as of late :\

i already did 2 xp styles and il be totaly redoing them for the final style :)

you have enough time to change your mind and send us a style ;)

you know, not just graphical overwhelming styles are regarded, you just need an idea of what's looking good and you can win this, without great photopost abilities :)

sucks for me, i'm an excelent designer, and a WAY n00b coder. i usually spend about 3 weeks on a design or ask assassingod for help :P

So when VB3 is released is this whole site gettin changed to it? like loosing all the hacks? OR are you gonna seperate the VB2 and VB3 hacks? Will people still make vb2 hacks? Oh no :p

I believe vB2 and vB3 hacks will be separated. Many people will likely run vB2 for a long time to come.

Yah i heard its meant to be easier to hack vb3 than vb2 was? does this mean theres hope for me yet?

we'll see how long there'll be new hacks for vb2.

once the vb2 forums get inactive they'll be moved to the archive :)
