Get rid of vb3 and go back to vb2
 

IMO Its much better with vb2. The hack database made a world of difference.

There was no need to post this 3 times. Also, I believe the hacks database is being ported (soon)

i agree wiithoughtt he ability to port the hack database i'm in two minds as to whether they should've made the upgrade but meh i hardly use it, i just click install then go thru my user cp to see what i've installed.

I'll never miss the hack DB. I hardly ever used it. So far so good with VB3.

people are scared of change its a fact of life, but to improve things you have to change them IMO :)

The most important parts of the DB was installing and the categories, and both are here.

We've decided long time ago not to port over the rest of the db, as we'll create something new, but that needs time

Exactly. :) We will do something with vB3 to make the forums and hack database integrated in some form.

Also, with all due respect, you cannot seriously expect them to trash all their efforts (this upgrade has been going on for weeks but only accessible to mods/admins). Give it time.

wait, so the hacks database won't be brought back? I liked it a lot. better than dealing with threads cuz you can search through it without being bothered with threads being bumped up to the top of the list by replies :(

you can change wha't on top of forumdisplay, so bumping isn't really a problem if you want to find something
