vB sites where offered a free trail that intergrated with there member DB's IIRC. But as far as I know that is no longer avaiable because the thread is long gone.

i tried it once.... it has a field for IPB boards iirc(or i think it does) but i tried it and didn't like it because its not nice as the originals or trillian

I used the free trial and because of my beta testing it's been free since - works beautifully :)!

My users can have their own messenger if they wish...

Yes partially in that it has links to the usercp areas and register areas of your site.
