Whats with the closing of threads?

This is a forum, for people to share views, now i asked a q' in the forum a sec ago and suddenly it was closed. I mean, i wanted to follow up. So why close it? it saves time NOT closing it.

It was answered. Maybe you PM rather than post publically, saves our time from reading your threads:)

Very rude wasnt that Steven, half the people here dont exept PM's, which i earlier found out when i wanted to use a bit of Chen's code and couldn't pm him.

Most of the moderators except PMs, and Erwin and Xenon accept them.

Also, I think it was posted in the wrong forum.

Blah, threads needn't be closed unless there's a lot of rule breaking continuously going on in there otherwise threads get killed off and its no fun anymore :(

Just PM the mod who closed them to ask why.

lol... seriously though i have contacted you (Erwin) a few times by PM as you know and your a good help.... but.... i just feel that if i ask Mist not to do it, that wont matter because being like most teenagers, he is ignorant. :cross-eyed:

Last time I checked being 13-19 means you're a teenager.

18 is just as much of a teenager as a 13 year old, if not more as he's been a teenager for many years ;)

Remember, this is a dictatorship, not a democracy. We always have the final say as per the forum rules. After all, the primary focus of this site is to provide code modifications for vBulletin.

18 is the legal drinking age in the uk. not saying that he can drink though, just that he's allowed to ;)

He's allowed to do anything now that he's 18 and lives in UK :D

Oh, I thought he was in the US. Yes, in Australia, the drinking age is also 18. In the US (the poor sods) it's 21.

I think it goes 13 - 18 is teenager, 12 - 20 is Adolescense and 18+ is Adult.

Not true. 19 is still a teen, because it is nineTEEN. :)

Guiness - that stuff's like oil. Only beer i'm really keen on is Bathams (only found in a few pubs in the UK)

In Ireland, they have some nasty stuff, but lower down in europe here its proper Guiness, then its good. But not in the British Isles... its ok :-\

Marijuana is illegal in Australia. It has not been decriminalized yet. I don't want to start a drugs debate here, but as a medical doctor, I want to inform members here that marijuana is a very toxic drug on young brains, and can lead to serious psychiatric problems.

Alcohol and Ciggeretts are the only legal "bad" drugs here. (Besides for medicine drugs and prescription medicine etc. thats legal elsewhere too)

Someone i know well is a doctor and loves the weed, lol.
