rate my XXXX (hot or not)
 

i saw someone request this a while back but nothing came of it, basically i'd like to re-request it. but with one major difference from the previously requested version, i'd like for the ability to set up catergories, like rate my hair doo, rate my face, rate my tatts, rate my peircings, etc.

just had a thought on how to make this better, basically if a member gives a vote of 10, the person who's pic it is gets 100 points, so basically they get whatever was voted * 10 in points for each vote they get by a member but if it's not a member then their points remain the same, oh and also they get points for each pic submitted.

i think that's rather exciting :-|

ok i'm guessing how to make it now

you need to make the photo's table, the votes table and the comments table

then you need to code it so every picture has a vote 1-10 and a skip, i guess at this point you'd need to code it so it adds points too

i think that's the basic part, i dunno how to do the different catergories and what not, hell i don't even know how to do that bit but thought i'd try and help :laugh: :nervous:

altho i'm not quite willing to pay for this hack to be made, especially with the lack of posting from hackers, i would be willing to donate a little into your pockets if it helped stimuate interest

buy photopost it has something like that already in it, members can vore on pics, comment, all intergrated into your vb.

And if you plan to use a point system it would be easy to impliment.

It is a worth wild thing. I am also sure you could make a section just for that and have it show on another page (via a hack). That is my plan in the near future.

I have had it about a week and loving it, although it cost about the same as your vb did, way I see it is an investment.

Not yet, just released 2.1 making it themeable, so it will be easier to work with... There is still a lot of code clean up to do on the files as well...
