VB3 Hacks ?
 

Is there any that any know of that work for VB3?

I know there has to be some that work with it please pm me or email me if you know of any.

as the code of vb3 is a complete new rewrite, normally none of the vb2 hacks work with it.

ok, most can be ported easily, but without changing a few things no hack will work.

Main one I want back is the store :(

But I am not that good to hack it to work.

Any tips on what the main things needing changed are?

Basically you're going to have to change pracitcally all the function_names used that were in vb2 :)

Just wanted to note something, many of you might be porting scripts for your own use, but do NOT release them as your work when the VB3 forums are open.

I've decided to make a pact of only installing hacks I need rather than hacks on impulse;)

Posts/Threads since last visit
User defined "use re-directs"
User defined "show quick reply"

We have more planned / coded, but I forgot them - At the moment, we are just testing them to see if they work on Beta 3, but I have the "Posts/Threads since last visit" on DarkBlazes;)

Not to argue the fact, but I'm curious why vB3 hacks can't be discussed/released here. Would it be against the Jelsoft terms if I opened a site dedicated to such?

@dot: it's a beta, and hacking would make the bugfinding process very hard....

yes you can make such a site, but as you won't be able to check for licenses you can be sure, you'll have a lot of warez users on your board then.

I added the posting frequensy hack.

I started on journals. Half the php so far has been redone. It atleast shows the main now. (getting someplace).

My atm item I plan do to is welcome panel (easy but not) since I am new to this.

Please don't open a non-official vB hack site - like Stefan said, you won't be able to check for licensed users, and it would be a place to distribute hacks to pirates.

vB3 is still beta - the PHP files and templates are NOT FINISHED yet, so hacks released now will need constant updating.

Ya it will be easier to update them though if hacking them for vb3.

I was going to wait but then I thought .... At the rate vbulltetin updates it will be awhile before I have to fix the hacks lmao.

Thanks Erwin... I have been tryin hard on these add on's.

I was going to do the store one but since it has so much hacking to it I thought it be best to wait on that one.

I also have a personals add on that I started on.... I will post it in here when I get it more functional.
