The Hack List
 

Well I had seen trafix post on making a hack list in admincp for vb3.

Well I have finished it and I am currently working on the install file.

It uses admin permissions and all the admincp features with out messing anything up!

Also I need to make it arrange by the date installed but that will be after I get the install script done.

This is the same hack as trafix's ?

Nice, but a number of reasons why this won't work;

1. It's already been done by N!ck
2. vB3 hacks are not allowed to be posted until RC/Gold state
3. Read filburt1's signature

Right, you're not supposed to hack vB3. You can discuss it in general terms of course, but it's against the rules to post them for good reason (beta testing!). :)

Well you can do it yourself, just not post the actual hacks (and he didn't; he posted screenshots). However, it's definitely an unwise thing to do for a beta ;)

since this is just a discussion, why not add a column for files edited, templates edited, etc.

Ya it's not a posted hack yet. Just showing what I have done for when it goes gold.

Can I get a link to the one already done, didn't know it was already and is it vb3?

It's on a dev test board I'm not gonna report any bugs from it because I do mess it up probly every day. Pretty mush where I make and try my hacks so.

I actually meant in the add hack new.gif there is a section for hack name and date but none for files edited, templates modified etc.

Ya I was thinking of something like that so when you click on the hack name in the main area it takes you to the install instrustions.

Right now I'm working on making it arrange by date or name what ever you want and have the date go automaticly like in post and have it update when you edit it.

Search for HackTracker. It's not vB3 but I am not suer if N!ck is remaking it for vB3:) That's why I mentioned it.

Ya sorry I'm really sloppy when it comes to spelling. One of my hacks I had spelt view as veiw . . . lol

And there still a problem that exist with the description and install text are. You have to put <br> everytime you want to go down a line.
