Requested Here [high]Don't forget to click here when you have installed this, to receive new updates for this hack![/high] What does this hack do? This hack allows you to remove all the images from a user's signature with by clicking on a link that is located in the postbit (next to Report this post to a moderator). How do I install this? Simply read the instructions in the attached file. Bugs, Suggestions, Comments There shouldn't be any bugs here, but let me know if you find one. |
umm, im using 2.2.8
where do i put the lines? the member.php doesnt have the line: PHP Code:
|
Place the lines you have to add to member.php at the very end, but before the final
PHP Code:
|
cool, i'll have to try this.
|
*Clicks Install*
|
i tried adding it after that part but it didnt seem to work, i'll try it all over again and see if i get the same results.
would it work if they had 2 images in one sig? |
Personally I prefer the modified version of Sig Editor by Scott MacVicar ;)

Once you remove the image, can you add the image if you want to see it again =/
I set it up, works great, easy to install. I like it, I'll install it |

But then again, I'm sure that if the signature had an offending image, either too big, or offensive, then you wouldn't want to recover it :) Unless you are afraid of clicking on the link by mistake? |
yea, that's it. I was testing it out, and accidently removed my own sig :(
|
Sorry im a noob at coding,i installed it,but the only thing that happens is that if i delete someone else his sig my own sig gets removed :)
maybe any tips what can cause this? thank you :) |
What is the URL shown for the link to remove a user's signature?
Is the userid the same as the user's userid, or is it your userid? |
the userid shows up,not mine.
|
anyone else maybe?
|
What's the URL for the remove signature link?
|
http://*************/forum/member.ph...mages&userid=2
it deletes only our own sigs,i have userid 1,i tested it on my co-admin.(above url)but it removes my own, vice versa the same if he tries to delete a sig his sig gets deleted instead of the user. Hopefully this can be fixed,i really want this hack :) |
It only does this on your board, you must have installed it incorrectly.
|
I did exactly what is written in the instructions.Doublechecked it,reinstalled, still the same.
Anyway thank you for trying to help. |
Could you copy and paste the postbit part that you need to modify for this hack, including 3-5 lines above and below it?
|
Sure,here it is :)
<td style="border: 1px solid #7E2B42; <div align="center"> <smallfont><b>$post[username]</b> is now</smallfont> $onlinestatus </td> </tr> <tr> <td align="center" valign="top" height="21"> <a href="report.php?s=$session[sessionhash]&postid=$post[postid]"> <img src="{imagesfolder}/p_report.gif" border="0"></a> <a href="newreply.php?s=$session[sessionhash]&action=newreply&postid=$post[postid]"> <img src="{imagesfolder}/p_quote.gif" border="0"></a> <a href="editpost.php?s=$session[sessionhash]&action=editpost&postid=$post[postid]"> <img src="{imagesfolder}/p_edit.gif" border="0"></a> </td> </tr> </table> |
That's the problem - I don't see the hack's modifications in those lines.
|
hey this hack works great but is there anyway i could use it not to remove signature but replace it with the Below
============================================== SIGNATURE SUSPENDED PLEASE READ RULES ============================================== |
i removed the hack modification,i put it on several spots and it didnt work for me.I got some other hacks installed on our board, maybe that causes it.
<td align="center" valign="top" height="21"> <a href="member.php?s=$session[sessionhash]&action=sigimages&userid=$post[userid]">Remove Signature Images</a> <a href="report.php?s=$session[sessionhash]&postid=$post[postid]"> <img src="https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/images/p_report.gif" border="0"></a> <a href="newreply.php?s=$session[sessionhash]&action=newreply&postid=$post[postid]"> <img src="https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/images/p_quote.gif" border="0"></a> <a href="editpost.php?s=$session[sessionhash]&action=editpost&postid=$post[postid]"> <img src="https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/images/p_edit.gif" border="0"></a> </td> this is where i did put the modification into |
