looking for a new good host

i'm looking for a good host now
do anybody have any good idea's
now i'm on Technolojik but the send me a mail this morning that they disabled my account for the creation of 'spam' mail, the only thing that i did was sending a mail to al my members.
it realy suck

So far I would have to say Pixie Host has been the best host I've been with. I have a pretty active forum (average of 30-50 users online) and have been through quite a few hosts that couldn't handle the server load. So far with Pixie the server load has rarely gone above 1 and there's been very little downtime (it's been at least 99% uptime since I've been with them). Their prices are very reasonable too. I'm paying $35/month for 5gb of storage and 50gb of bandwitdth, plus they include cPanel, unlimited mysql databases, email addresses, FTP accounts, and just about everything. :)

There is no such thing as unlimited. :) Be wary of hosts that promise things they can never deliver.

No other host I've come across offers the pricing and features of Netluxe.com

I get 1gb of space and 50 gb of bandwidth a month for $9.99 if anyone beats that let me know because I will switch but it is very doubtful.

The last person who said they got unlimited everything, I bought hosting from their host just to prove them wrong, use up muy "unlimited" share of the resources, down in few weeks, all their bandwidth gone. Don't test me :-p If you want to test your unlimited everything theory. Please PM or email me. I will be glad to take down your host, your site, and all others by using my "fair" share :-p

I don't think I should offer the server our current website is on unless you want to pay hundreds monthly. :eek:

stay far away from providers who offer unlimited bandwidth as Techno does. Once you reach there cap, all unlimited providers come up with a lame excuse to cut you just like you are seeing. I recommend looking into our company http://www.theforumhost.com along with http://www.viperhost.com whom both have good track records on vbulletin.com for service.

The forum_host guy. I got an email yesterday, but they havnen't replied since. I'm not down 4 days because of them. I have been trying to get an account since only yesterday. But, as you can imagine, I'm anxious.

I'm gonna sit back and wait. He'll get to me eventually I guess.
