Personally I don't like that particular modification, I think it makes the forum design look unnecessarily ugly. However, multiple style support is always a good thing for those that want a modification on their forums such as this.
Nice work.. :) |
Thanks. Are you talking about that screenshot? The style is rather disgusting;)
|
Yes - The style is steve's best work;):p
Nice steve;) Satan |

I'd just rather have all names the same colour instead of having them multiple colours. |
Ah I see. Its just useful for people with multiple style's and who want to be able to change the colours of it incase it doesnt match the stye:)
Thanks chris:p |
@oblivion knight - But you can make the colours the same, but not all colours go with all styles:
Example: Black style (all names white) Example: White style (all names black) :) Satan |
Yay!! You finally made it :) you did it in the same way I did on my forum [unreleased], but for your next version an idea is to not have people list the colour, but instead have opening tag//closing tag fields instead so anything can be done, i.e. glow, change font, etc. that's the setup I have on my forum, for a better idea, see the attached screenshot:
[I didn't release this hack as I knew that Steve would eventually and he finally has :)] |
Thanks. Yours is well cool:)
And I found out the reason why I couldnt do it before, I kept making typos:o but yeah, that's a good idea. I'll do it after I do it for WOL and forumdisplay (maybe even postbit) and none should be hard at all;):) |
Thanks Steve!
I've been wanting this :) |
No problem

Question, I've currently hacked this in but it requires editting the php for me to change the colors and such :)
Considering switching to this because of the admin cp tie in :) The thing is, I use font commands in mine as I use a glow. Will this work with html coding? or will it only work for basic colors? |
I believe that assassingod's next version will include the ability to use HTML tags such as a glow filter or shadow effect;)

Great one! *installed*
|
Thanks AlexandrerT:)
Cyricx, this version will only allow basic colours. The next verion im working on which will be released either today or tomorrow will be much more dynamic and advanced so you can any add type of HTML coding in it:) |
I like it but I am to stupid to install it, How do I find root/admin/style.php
I have vbulletin 2.3.0 |
Its in the admin directory:)
So go into your forums directory, and open up the admin folder, style.php is in there:) |
Good work man, this script is easy to install and effective! :D
