Get rid of Kazaa Lite and get the new Morpheus 3.0. It is better than anthing else I have tried.

What is the eBay toolbar daemon?

What about the claims it has Sqyware are they true or not?

Boofo 05-19-2003 10:58 PM

I have Ad-ware 6 installed and it did not pop up at all while installing Morpheus. The claims on the new version are false. I heard the Kazaa is really bad for that, though. That's why I have never used Kazaa. The one time I did use it, Ad-aware went crazy.

filburt1 05-19-2003 11:00 PM

Morpheus uses the now-worthless Gnutella network. With Kazaa at least I can download something and not have it fail all the time...

Look a few threads down for the eBay toolbar.

Yes, ZA Pro so I can open up specific ports (namely Apache and RDS).

ehjay 05-19-2003 11:25 PM

C'mon Boofo.... first you make us think you need long-distance mousing -- now you act like you haven't got lovely ladies already scoped out. Haha.... cute.

I had a look at my stuff at the bottom.... wow, that's a lot.

In Systray...

1. Volume Control - muted at the moment.
2. Task Manager - which I guess should be removed, since I'm always disabling the stupid thing.
3. MSN Messenger.
4. A grouping of Norton/Symantec products.
5. Zone Alarm (free version).
6. ICQ
7. And..... oh hell, when did another message come in?

In my screenshot, I'm also showing what I have on the Quick Launch bar at the left side (and overflow pop up). That's where I keep the good stuff.

:cheeky:

Talisman, I wouldn't know anything about ladies, I'm married. Ouch! The wife just corrected me. Apparently, she's a lady (how did I ever miss that one?).

I'd show a picture of my tray bar if I could only remember where I put it.

You're running both godly Winamp2 and crappy Winamp3

Chris M 05-20-2003 04:54 PM

Yeh...

Winamp2 because I can use it with a Trillian Pro plugin which lets me send a message to every schmo online about what music I am listening to, and Winamp3 cos I like the opacity and stuff...

Satan

Dean C 05-20-2003 05:40 PM

The skins for winamp3 are untouchable :)

Xenon 05-20-2003 06:10 PM

Xenon 05-20-2003 10:04 PM

hm winamp 2 has very good skins, but hey skins are not important, art of coding should be important :)

RDX1 05-21-2003 12:44 AM

Boo! Pure coding thinking
